Eco Standing Seam Installation Belfountain Ontario, featuring a modern metal roofing system designed for long-term durability and a clean architectural finish.

For this project, the metal roof was installed directly over the existing asphalt shingles, which continue to serve as a secondary protective layer for the roof deck. No additional membrane or Blueskin was used. Instead, a strapping system was installed to create continuous airflow between the existing roof and the new metal system. This air gap improves ventilation and helps prevent moisture buildup beneath the panels.

A key feature of this installation is the use of custom-length Eco standing seam panels. Each panel was manufactured to match the full height of the roof slopes, allowing installation from eave to ridge in a single continuous piece. This eliminates horizontal seams, enhances water tightness, and delivers a clean, uninterrupted appearance.

The result is a durable, low-maintenance metal roofing system that combines efficient installation, proper ventilation, and a refined modern look—well suited for Ontario’s climate conditions.
