Project Description

This eco standing seam installation in Bolton, Ontario was completed as part of a new construction project during the winter season.

The roofing system was built with a focus on durability, efficiency, and long-term performance. A waterproof membrane was installed beneath the plywood deck, providing an additional layer of protection against moisture infiltration from below. Above the deck, a full wood strapping system was applied to create a continuous օդ airflow gap between the structure and the metal panels, ensuring proper ventilation and reducing the risk of condensation.

The roof was finished using eco standing seam metal panels, designed to replicate the clean vertical lines of traditional standing seam systems while offering a more cost-effective solution. The panels were manufactured from zinc-magnesium coated steel, providing enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term durability in Ontario’s variable climate conditions.

Despite the challenges of winter installation, the system was completed with careful attention to detail, ensuring proper sealing, alignment, and structural integrity.

This project highlights how modern metal roofing systems can be efficiently installed even in colder conditions, delivering a reliable, ventilated, and visually refined roofing solution for new construction homes.
