Project Description
Metal Roof Installation Vaughan Ontario involved the installation of a durable Monterrey-style metal tile roofing system designed to improve both the appearance and long-term performance of the home.
The existing asphalt shingles were left in place and used as an additional protective layer for the roof deck. A strapping system was installed directly over the shingles, creating the necessary ventilation space required for a properly functioning metal roofing system.
During the project, our team also replaced two existing skylights. The old skylights were carefully removed and the surrounding roof structure was inspected. Damaged and rotten plywood around the openings was removed and replaced with new sheathing to ensure a solid base for the new installation.
After the repairs were completed, the skylight areas were properly sealed using primer and Soprema Blueskin membrane, providing reliable waterproof protection around the openings before the new skylights were installed.
The roofing system was then completed using premium ThyssenKrupp steel panels in a Monterrey metal tile profile, finished in mocha brown. The result is a strong, weather-resistant roof that enhances the overall look of the property while providing long-lasting protection suitable for Ontario’s climate.
This project demonstrates how professional preparation, structural repairs, and careful skylight integration contribute to a reliable and visually appealing metal roofing system.
